Thought I would write a brief blog, although I don’t have any pictures or funny stories to tell. I am however getting all settled into my new place in Santa Rosa. Enjoying the ability to ride my bike to school and pull my things out of boxes. Well, some of my things. Still not quite the ideal place to make my home but it is good for the moment and I really like my new roommates. Daisy and Carole are both sweet girls and around the same age. They are fun and interesting and although they are not here very often we have a nice time when we are together.  Classes have been great so far. I enjoy them so much that it is hard to think about is as school. But maybe that is a good thing.

So, homework tonight, designing a greeting card- which is basically what I would be doing anyways!

I feel a little bit like I am back in Elementary School! We made paper in class today. I was remembering the times when Chieko and I spent making paper, mixing grass and moss and other little pieces of nature to add to our concoction. What fun!

I am enjoying being back in school and really happy that I am going to be learning about something I love. It has been a bit of a challenge to drive back and forth from Potter to Santa Rosa but soon I will be living in Sonoma County. I move in with two girls, Daisy and Carole next weekend. They are fun and nice and interesting so I think it will be great. I am still looking for a JOB. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. A new president (and out with the old) sure is a positive change too!

So, back to class…
